NA intake manifold onto 3SGTE

Postby DFECTED » Sun Sep 04, 2005 11:54 am

I have a Gen1 3SGE in bits and a Gen1 3SGTE that I am going to rebuild.

I am wondering the pros and cons to using a NA 3SGE intake mainfold on the ST165 3SGTE.

Pros:
-Throttle body on side making FMIC piping easier
-Stop number 3 cylinder running lean?
-Flow?

Cons:
Flow?

.......... any input appreciated

Cheers

Heya, I don't know too much myself, but since no-one else has said anything... i'd say that compression would be your biggest issue, as thats the main difference between the 3SGE/3SGTE (excluding the turbo).

of course intake manifolds have nothing to do with compression ratios....
