Ive got the same issue, but im too lazy to fix it.

You need to open the front boot, remove the plastic covering at the front and go from there I think, dunno if you can go from underneath.

OMG I can't believe you guys are doing this. What the F*?!

remove undercovers, dig hand from under car, reach up behind indicator, unscrew the damn bulb out like all smart people do.

FFS.

oh wait, go ahead and damage your indicators, I have a spare set here when you guys want to buy a replacement.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.

Since we're on the topic of MR2s here and sorry to steal the thread how do you change the bulb in the fog light in the bottom of the bumper in an SW?

My missus's one is blown and it needs changing and I haven't really $&#$% round with it too much but if I know exactly what to do will make it easier since other people must have done it before...

Cheers. :D

Pop youre headlights up, open the hood. take off the black plastic shroud around the lights, and reach down into the bumper. You will find a small plastic stalk down there, turn it anticlockwise and pull it out. replace the bulb (5W, 2-pin) and screw the stalk back in. Test the light before replacing shrouds. job done

ORRRRR, Remove fog lights completely, reach hand up, and unplug parkie, plug in new parkie, wow done.

can replace ur fog light bulbs if you want too >.>

oh and btw, careful on those foggies, those screws can get fked and required drilling out and retapping, which is a biatch to do and get done.

I used myself a small asian man, with small asian hands, but, yes, whichever way works.

I tried unscrewing the top screw on the fog light and me not knowing how much forse to use forced teh screw straight the housing out the back :?

I didn't even realize I was pushing down on it hard. Will try going from top. To me it looked so much easier to just remove the pop up light completely and then go at it...

i used heaps of force when trying to get coris out, in the end we opted for an electric drill X_X. (with a screw bit, not to drill the screw out).

so we used quite a bit of force...

and no problems

bar, one foggie had to be held on a strange angle to wind the screw back in.... but yesssss as said, small asian man (CHEERS PHILL!)

GL btw...

if they are factory yellow, sell them and buy late model mr2 foggies

if they are yellow film over the top of the foggie *surface*, polish them with metal / plastic polish.

click the sw20 link in the sig of mine below, to see a pic of the gfs car with its foggies on, and 5200k bulbs in them.
