Day: Sunday
Date: 25th September
Location: Alexandra Airport - few mins out of the town (on the road to Queenstown/Wanaka)
Time: 11am the racing starts (have to be there before 8am if you're going to race)
Entry: $7.00 adults, $1.00 15 years and under, free for under five year olds

Bring sunscreen!

TOYSPEED MEET/CRUISE
Meet up: At Shell Andersons Bay
At: 7:00am (might pay to get there earlier so there's not as much waiting around)
Leave: 7:15am - NO LATER!!!!!!

I'll probably end up waiting in East Taieri until 7:30am at the latest.

hey everyone in new hear was just surfing around and came across this post
i dont drive a toyota hope no one minds

first this is the most fun drag event of the year everyone should go if they can

im racing heading up on sat if the cars r ready
the tracks real slow subtract about half a second from time to equal invers
its usually heads up racing all day (u race who u want and start at the same time)
this is good cause normaly u dont get to race v8s very often
i asumme u have the white caldina wagon?if so and they put everyone in classes we will be in the same one...prob race at some stage

won't have a chance against the N/A 4 cylinder GSXR

I think it's because it's more dangerous for the bike's racing with car's but they might and ill be keen.. What you driving?? I was going to do the dyno jet kit in my bike before then but I get my paint ball gun there goes that idea

Yeah aye I remeber last year quickest car took on quickest bike and it was Rob in his GTR Race Car vs a Suzuki Hyabusa and it KILLED the GTR and even Rob said he couldn't believe how quick it was!!
Was talking to tha guy last week as he organise's the Bike Drag's and he not racing this year smashed his shoulder blade but was saying it will be pulling 9's easy this year and the surface is crap aswell

The bikes were only a second quicker than Rob last year though wern't they? Only setting ten second times.

And slinky, i meant close as in one or two seconds.

Yeah think the Busa was 10 flat or something but take into consideration getting something like that off the line on that surface trying not to wheelie or step out remeber only got 1 rear wheel which make's it bit more difficult then getting a 4wd off the mark ..

Paddock is looking a no go, fire risk too high in the padock i had set up, but if we have 3 weeks of fairly decnt rain we might be ok, wouldnt hold my breath though.

Dude you forgot about my coupe im guna go nuts try and get it runin spot on and a cheap paint. Its guna get me there
