evlgsxr

i asume you are on a gsxr 1000?

im taking 2 of my gtr skylines

the one that won(fastest car) last year and my new one that is much faster

i didnt race the hybusa or any bike or say i did
it would have sh*t on me he ran 10.3(i think)and i ran 11.5
alex is about .5/.7sec slower than most places so its a guenuine 9 sec bike very cool
i dont know if the new one would bet u or not its still at full weight(even has stereo)
my best guess is that ill break a gearbox/axle/driveshaft anyway

im just going up 2 test a new engine/gbox combo before we get serrious in a light weight body later in the year
i have traction probs all the way down the strip so the crap surface is the same for every one remember u only have to move a couple of hunderd kg and my 4 tyres have to move 1600+
cheers
feel free to wander up and say hi

mustangman
good spoting noticing it was me

love to see u all there it a great day and realy good to try as a first one
red cars are faster

It sounds like a fun group drive, would love to take part...

A little bit of me would love to race, too... but my 15s wagon is prob a bit below the class of others going. Not so keen on it actually racing someone else... I just would like to see how our work on it has improved it's time.

Yeah I was think 15 would be pushing it in a non turbo Caldina. 20v's seem to do it ranging from 15-17 seconds with mods. My Celica GT4 done it in 13.8 something and that was 2L Turbo 4WD!

I got 16.08s at the Midway/Rock drags last year... and 15.8s in an unofficial run with one of those doofas you stick to your windscreen... after 4-wheel spin on a slippery road.

Just a wee note... since here on Toyspeed we do like a little giggle at Hondas...

At the Midway/Rock drags last April, my heavy, 4WD wagon went faster than a 2-dr coupe with traction control (otherwise known as a HONDA Prelude) in every one of the five runs we did that day... tee hee

Assuming it was a 2.2L non-VTEC coupe? If so I could believe that.

That's what I was thinking my mate's Black Top 20V Wagon got a 15 flat and I don't think a Non Turbo Caldina would go close to it :? ..

Hhhmmm 13.8 from a GT4 with your driving history I find that very hard to believe dude :? You would need to be running 44psi instead of the 14psi you said :D
