Today at work (im an Iompa Lompa at a lollie factory), and i turn to someone to talk to (yada yada), "so, who you voting for?"

I get the responce:

"Im not voting, if god intended us to vote, he would have made it manatory".... with a puzzled look on my face, i said "righteo..."

about 20 minutes later, she swaps with someone else, and i deicde to ask her, the responce:

"Im a jahovas witness, im not allowed to vote"

Righteo, and that ends talking with co-workers at my work......

Well, you admitted it yourself, you only on 18k a year so chances are your fellow employees will be on a similar amount. As you have found out, that doesn't buy much brain power

Not insinuating anything against you of couse.

Why waste your time believing in something so strongly.. that you are unable to prove?

There are alot of things in this world that can't be proven is that to say because there is no scientific proof it didn't happen?

Don't get me wrong i'm not exactly the most religious person. In fact you could say I to hate the way religion has manifested into something other then someones personnal beliefs.

Yes indeed..
thats what i seriously believe religion is.

Its so that people feel better about what will happen when they die.
They will go to heaven etc, instead of actually just decomposing.

But thats what pisses me off, they try to claim all this stuff is true with 100% certainty. Whereas i voice my opinion saying.. mate i think its BS eh.. and they merely retort that in fact, im WRONG.

And dont even get me started on those lame ass pretend christians.. i know a few. They go to church and shit, yet they still have pre-marital sex and perform a host of other sins on a regular basis, and also probably havent even read the bible.

I pretty much have the same views on religion but in saying that people are gonna believe what they want to, as long as it isn't shoved in my face, and they don't try to force it on me i'm sweet with them believing in what they want.
I myself have my own beliefs, not the whole heaven and hell crap but i still have beliefs.
As i said not everything in this world can be explained by science and this is where those who do believe in god say it is an act of him. But what if it was an act of the devil or just mother nature playing games?
No one really knows.

pervert is right but i voted politics because a whole country can get invloved if they disagree with something like taxes, but say a certain religion say no sex before marrage its only the people who beleive in that religion that will argue about it if they disagree, not everyone

but either way it can be worse than the other at times

Stocks late, money ran dry, had to get a temp job, we just got 5000 of one item, and another 5000 items of another item are on the boat from japland now (dream candles / dream lights, see website www.kjtech.co.nz), Tv's here in Dec, we have a Mini Tv here now (little 8inch screen, plays dvds, tv, radio, other shit), coris playing with it right now, 32" flat screen we have to "play with" as well, However it seems we are leaning towards being a wholesaler rather than retailer (just saves heaps of bs by the sounds of things).

However its not going to be a great career, so i might just be jumping ship to aus (not quite sure, just seeing how things turn out...)

Thast true, remember, ive worked here for a whopping 2 weeks now, and already am thinking of quitting (seriously, about 50% of them actually have a brain, the rest are there because "its the best job they can get")

Didnt wanna work at maccas again, and i have my cv in at a few other places (interview on Monday for some IT job, I was asked if im interested in an Apprentiship at a toyota dealership), so just a few more days and ill find out whats really going on.

$18,000 a year... only $363 a week.... Pitaful wage... Maccas employees get more! (like hell im working there though)....

$363 X 52 = $18876,

I just chopped off the last $800 (since it will probbaly be taken for supplying hair nets or something stupid).

thats an average anyway, its seasonal work...

Me, i have to get up at 6:30 in the morning, to do the SAME thing over and over again.

yeh, everyone says that *nah, i have to answer phones all day*, BS, this IS the same job.

its split roughly into 12 second cyles, pickup bag of lollies, throw bag into "bin", grab empty bag, scrunch up, throw in rubbish bag, break down box, throw into big bin of empty boxes.

Start from start again

for 8 hours...

Ive worked there for a few days, and argh, never again will i choose a job thats blue collar work. Im watching the clock every 3 seconds :(

yeh, thats right, feel sorry for me...

not like anyone will :P
