next i guess is ecu, link or autronic? whats the price on an autronic? and any advantages? its just so cheap to buy a link these days and all my friends run them
cheers!

If your wanting 450hp I wouldnt think money should be an issue.....
for the hp you wana pump, fuel it good, autronic, it costs around $2200+gst. and another $300 for the learning chip whcih can save you hours on tuning!!.
The normal cost of a full head job from Lynn is around $2k for a good one. He got my dads 2L n/a pinto SOHC engines pumping 240hp@8000.
Drifter4ag wrote:might wanna extend your plans then... i would goto lyn for any head work .. even though it may seem expensive its still the best you are going to get in NZ and if you are lucky he will teach you things along the way.
$2000 total budget is unrealistic.. a budget of $5000 will build the reliable 250kw setup.

the link isnt going to provide less hp, just not as good as tuning it for road driving.
well we see what hp I will get, should be finished with my car soon.

15% powerloss to convert it back to flywheel power.
