There's getting by, then there's having some spare cash to spend...I know which I'd rather have... 8O

I know what you mean but, if your making enough to get by, you shouldn't have anything to complain about.

Money ... It's all about money, with Politic and Religion as the guise for the pursuit of money...

Root of all evil

As for woman/girls causing arguments ... I'll tell you the secret to why we do that ... ready?
We want your attention, be it good or bad attention, all we want is for you to take notice of us and to have your full attention. So we figure there are two ways to do that, one is argue with you and the other ... well, you know what that is
See easy as that really, many deny this but over the years I've seen sooooo many young girls do it. If you're off with your mates having a great time how is she gonna get your attention away from them ... easy as a little game we like to call "call and see if he comes running"
Now I've broken the code I'm sure to be killed so use this information wisely boys

Because it gives some people hope.

Yes indeed..
thats what i seriously believe religion is.

Its so that people feel better about what will happen when they die.
They will go to heaven etc, instead of actually just decomposing.

But thats what pisses me off, they try to claim all this stuff is true with 100% certainty. Whereas i voice my opinion saying.. mate i think its BS eh.. and they merely retort that in fact, im WRONG.

And dont even get me started on those lame ass pretend christians.. i know a few. They go to church and sh*t, yet they still have pre-marital sex and perform a host of other sins on a regular basis, and also probably havent even read the bible.

It’s called faith ... just because you don't understand or believe it doesn't mean that someone else should be trashed for their fervent belief in a God they deem to be real and working in their lives. For example … the Bumble Bee according to the laws of physical that mankind understand shouldn’t be able to fly … but guess what? It does, you’ve seen it and you just know it does. That is what belief in God is for some people. They've seen it and it works.

Faith: Belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence – that is from Dictionary.com.
There you have it … you can’t make something rational that isn’t, a little like a phobia ... irrational fear.

Anyway I’m sure I’m wasting my time here with this … :)
Happy arguing and remember Jesus Loves you ;) :P

Thats basically what he said. Its just giving some people somthing to believe in. Which is... well whats the point? "It give me warm feelings waa etc"

Gods never spoken to me, Ive got an open mind, so Im under the impression the whole things a scam. The more research I do, the more im sure im right.

And whats this shit about a bumble bee? Physics says they should be able to fly.

Funny how relegious people always pull out these old outdated "facts" to try to prove a point.

I often think its just humans trying to come up with a reason as to why they are here...

I just wrote a big reply, but then deleted it..

Religion is just...

Something ill never give a $&#$% about.

I could go into lame arguments about how there were probably some religious people in New Orleans, but then id be countered with typical christian arguments like "they've gone to a better place" or my personal favourite - "God works in.. mysterious ways"

peace.

Check out the bumble bee things ... it's really interesting to read why we don't think they can’t fly... go on, educate yourself ;)

Are you calling me religious? Have you thought that I'm perhaps just giving a different view point? Maybe I just like to stir and make you think a little.

What the actual problem is ... we assume to know what is right for everyone else and we assume that we understand everyone else’s experiences. Dangerous line to walk there.

OH and fact is only a 'fact' if it's back up with irrefutable evidence, other wise it’s merely opinion with assumption attached.

Love how about every six months this discussion comes up. Over the last six years that TS has been in existence I think there has been more people get passionate about this subject than any other. I wonder how many have researched and educated themselves or are they just stand on personal opinion… hrmmm human nature aye … we tend to shout first and research later.

Oh and the other thing that I’ve noticed too over the years, many people believe in the Devil or an evil power but not in God … Still trying to figure that one out.

Is God real? That is the big question. If God is not real then you can play by whatever rules you like. But if God is real then it is a whole new ballgame. It is interesting to note that the vast majority of people do believe that there is a God. George Barna, who makes a living by asking people questions like this, found that three out of four adults think that there is a God. Ask four friends and check it out for yourself. Of course the reality of God cannot be settled by majority vote.

I like this ... I wonder if three out of four in my group of friends would be honest enough to answer this.

Anyway ... If you have a spare hour, put into Google "Is God real" and read what comes up. It's amazing all the different opinions out there. :)
Very entertaining and enlightening.

This is so true, therefore, in my opinion, anyone who believes anything so strongly (i.e. a deeply religious person) without facts, is stupid...

Your the man. Funny how you can discredit a whole religion in one sentence.

Chelles : http://www.ratlab.co.uk/bee.htm

There goes the bumble bee thing...

Dont get me wrong, im wasn't trying to say your a religious person, wouldn't care if you were... I love it when people stir to try to get me to think, thinkings good. I just dont have to think that hard when it comes to religion cause it all seems pretty basic to me.

Lots of people will say they believe in a God, easy to say that and pretend to have hope, even if your not sure of somthing.

If I was God I would give you freeze frame powers and a vibrating bed.

Man, I saw this coming a mile away. There really is no reason to get hot under the collar about religion. Religion is one fo those things that just about everyone has a differing opinions on. So at the end of the day, why not let people believe or not beleive what they want, proven or unproven by facts or science. I mean, they are not hurting anyone.

Except Cathloic priests, but thats another story completely...

Well, the oh so great thing about this is, any arguements caused by the likes of religion, only leads to more argueing... Right up until the point, where the non religious person, speaks out to say "Proove it"

Well open the flood gates, because you cant proove something, that exists for one, and not another. and if you could, we would have many more Jehovah's witnesses around.

ANYWAY, as i was saying, the great thing is, this society (and basically all around the world), view the basis of everything as SCIENCE, which means... saying Proove it, basically means, proove it via science....

which, being the arch enemy of religion, means they fall down and die... or loose the arguement

So... Proove it :). "No, you have to belive" Well... *gets lucky old stone out*

See this? It keeps tigers away.... Dont belive me huh? Well, How about you go ahead and proove it. "I cant" Well... You just have to belive then dont ya ;) ;) ;).

Really pisses people off :D.

Duno if this is true or not either, but i found it bloody funny:

http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/2919/reasons.html

51. You are discouraged from buying a two door car-A "Theocratic" or "spiritually strong" Jehovah's Witness will have a full size car for the door to door work

Exactly right, yet most if not all of you will have to admit something things happen that cannot be proven by science yet there it is. E.g. bumble bee.

Even if somebody is not religious or believe in god most people do believe there is something out there and go so far as to say that it is a higher power.

Is this not some form of faith?

And if being so, is it not what religion is?
Faith in something unexplainable.

You may not abide by all of one religions beliefs but if you look at all religions they are pretty much the same thing anyway.
