why celica have more power than mr2

Postby 3rdgen3SGTE » Thu Sep 22, 2005 6:16 pm

the celica st205 have 255hp and the mr2 have 245hp in 3rd gen

I have mr2 ecu because it don't need water pomp signal for air/air intercooler.

if I use this one I maybe drop of 10hp

or maybe is not in the ecu that the difference are

tanks

at least he has a genuine reason for his dodgy english, not like some of the spankers on here.

what he basiclly wants to know is if an sw20 3sgte ecu will cause a 10hp loss in his st205.

No need for an apology. As said above, a majority of members who claim English as their first language make a lot less sense than your posts

Maybe, but he's quoting the weight for the ST204 (5S-FE -USDM GT / Canadian GT-S) , equivalent, apart from engine, to the ST202, though according to the info I have that figure is a bit low.

The SW20 weight is not correct, even the most obese ones don't weigh that much, and the GT-S is around 1250kgs.

A fair comparison for NZ would be between the ST202 @ 1150KGs (3S-FE or the 3S-GE model @1190kgs) and the SW20 G model @ 1210Kgs, Given the SW20's 180ps vs the ST202's 140ps(3S-FE, 170ps for the 3S-GE) looks like the SW20 is still on top ;)
