My OEL has a line through it!

Postby GGnz » Sun Sep 25, 2005 7:00 pm

Hey,

Just installed tweeters into my car but now my OEL Display on my Headunit has a line going through it. Could this possibly be a loose wire or is the screen damaged?

The headunit is a Pioneer DEH9650MP and features a MultiColor OEL. It currently has a blue line going vertically through the display.

Could someone please help me with this.

Cheers,
Gareth

Yeah I did. I think Amplified Audio have bumped something maybe? I'm gonna ring them tomorrow and ask if thats possible. Although they'll say no of course...

Nah still happy with headunit. Esp with my new tweeters. And money doesn't grow on trees Coz...

No only got 1 $999 sub. And headunit was $800. Get your facts straight, otherwise leave the figures out of it.

Also since when was this thread created to talk about other stereo systems. I was wanting some advice on whats going on here so if you don't know dont post!

A line though any kind of display such as that is not a good thing, chances are it's unrepairable... 8)

nah, my neighbour did the dodge wiring, ggnz cleaned it up from what i heard.

just sell it and buy a 946mp ggnz! :D.

oh, and a line through it is bad, unless its ment to! (my old kenwood thing that came in the trueno had 2 screens (one overlapping the other, one transparent), so it LOOKED buggered, but was ment to look like that :D

But then again, urs isnt ment to be doing that :P!, maybe its the super secret bonus level feature?

Thanks for your help guys (i.e. pervert and DeeCee) - good to see some toyspeeders don't spam threads and go on about other headunits when the thread isn't on that, even when it is put back on topic.
