ideal waterlines for ke35/4age

Postby l1ttle_d3vil » Tue Sep 27, 2005 11:03 pm

my 4age bluetop doesn't currently have a thermostat fitted anywhere. (reason being is I have the rwd parts on the back and fwd parts on the front of the engine, so I have the opposing parts off each engine which house the thermostat).

i have bought a thermostat/housing from a wreckers after being told it would be easier to fit that somewhere in my waterlines, rather than buy rwd parts and fit them.

my questions are
1: where is the most ideal place to put the housing? top of the radiator?
2: do i have to have a by-pass line around the thermostat aswell? where would this come from/go to?

i have a fair idea of this but just want to get some more ideas before I go putting it all together. this is the last thing i have to do before I can go get certs next week . . . finallly!!!!

heres the most recent pics ive got for those interested...its getting an ae85 LSD diff put in which should be finished tommorow too.

I can't remember what outlet it goes in, or whether you need bypass.

i know that ke35s are cool.
