Here's my new toy. I've spent the last 6 months reshelling running gear from a car from the South Island that had been rolled, these pics are from the cars' maiden outing yesterday at the Manukau Super Special Stage.

We know that four-wheel drive doesn't work in a racing car, and I proved to myself that it doesn't work very well for rallycross. I'm absolutely convinced that it has no future in rallying, either, even if the regulations allowed it. - Roger Clark (rallying legend), circa 1976

haha, twin turbo 351 with 4 speed and hurst shifter, the fastest car I have ever driven and worked on, that thing is nuts, worked on it, what, must have been about 2 months ago now, needed to be re vinned etc....... in reality its a piece of crap and needs to be done over, all the paint was flacking off because of the heat from the turbos 8O
I think the tryes were 295... but maybe more all i rember is the wheels were a c**t to get on beacuse they weigh so much and took shanked nuts.......

Very cool car though

Amy - Definatly has that burnt out feeling!

I scrolled up from the bottom and thought "Why the hell is someone showing the burnt out shell of a car as their 'project'?!?!"
Hahaha :D
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Here's mine, another hachi

Currently undergoing interior colour change from many shades of poo brown to black with a little grey. Also got a front lip coming from flokking so I'll get that on then give the bumpers a quick touch up.

Engine wise, Ive got a nite parts manifold, td05 and microtech ecu on the shelf just sitting, waiting...
