Gear box advise.

Ok ... I've been searching (obviously in the wrong places) and I can't find if a gearbox from a 1992 version 4age will bolt up with NO drama to a 4age from a AE92 (1987). From looking at them it appear that they are the same. Can anyone unequivocally confirm this before I start pulling things to bits?

i have an ae101 gearbox in my ae92.
seems to be no dramas cept for 2nd and 3rd synchros.
the gearbox has ae101 written on it from when it was at the wreckers, so i can only assume.

c50 c52 c56 will all bolt up that means any 4age from back in the day to bzg's,
the ae92 at a guess is a c52 and the ae101 is a c52 so the gearing will also be the same, c56 is better gearing for a 20v but im not sure about a 16v.
also shafts will fit fine.
