whats the difference: gen1 3s turbo and na heads

wondering if there are any major differences in the turbo and non turbo heads for gen 1 3s**

I have a non turbo yamaha head I want to recon and put onto my st165

yes there are differances
turbo head has sholders just after the injector

the non yamaha head warps easily to (from my experiance with them) and has more proment casting marks

they also have more agressive cam's in the n/a versions
the yamaha n/a head been moreso than the unmarked one

So will I be able to use the non turbo yamaha head on my ST165?

I also want to use the non turbo intake manifold instead of the turbo one because it will make plumbing for a front mount intercooler easier, do you know if that will work or will it be to restrictive for flow?

the different idle vaves will make it hard and the gt4 throttle is difficult to fit onto the n/a mani...been there done that so you will have to use the n/a one witch in turn has different wiring
i cant remeber all teh issues i had doing that

the head will bolt on....i think the studs are smaller in width so you might have to use the n/a studs(only wider on the shank)

other than that it will bolt on....oh i think the injector orings are different too
