Hi all,
I am after a set a touring (non performance) tyres with 195/65R14 configuration. Main features to consider will be durability>quietness>price.
These tyres come in 195/65R14:
Firestone Firehawk TZ100
Yokohama A539 (?phasing out)
Brigdestone Turanza GR80 (?phasing out)
Brigdestone Turanza ER60 (GR80 replacement?)
Pirelli P6000
Falken ZE-326
Kumho Powermax 769
Firestone Firehawk TZ100 is my #1 choice at the moment. I got quoted for NZ$150/each.
Any suggestions will be very much appreciated. Thanks!

buy directionals - P6000's are a NO
Kumho's don't generally last long unless u live around taupo... different road compound

My pick is the A539 but you are right, they have been discontinued. Maybe their replacement, the C-Drive? They are however way more expensive than the Firestones you've quoted.
Personally I would never touch Firestones, they usually seem to be budget versions of Bridgestones and lack severely for grip. The other tyres I haven't really driven on before and so can't comment on.
Remember, you get what you pay for. Tyres are not something to compromise on.

I have gone with a set of Yokohama A539 at $135 per corner (194/65/14). Thanks for the help!

I had c drives in 215/45/17 on my ute and they were quite good, pretty much no road noise and had nice grip around corners, especially when they warmed up.
It is a myth that emos are contagious, and you may be infected. However, it is still widely accepted to wash your hands after physical contact
