AE101 20V ECU question

Postby crispy'86 » Mon Oct 10, 2005 5:57 pm

Does anyone know the part numbers for the ecu's from a 20v manual and auto ae101?? I have someone with one but he's not sure if the ecu is off an auto or manual.
Any help greatly appreciated

There are a few different part numbers for a manual ecu off ae101, best thing is just tell by plugs, auto has different plugs from manual:
Manual: 12 pin plug, 16 pin plug and 26 pin plug.
Auto: 16 pin plug, 26 pin plug and 22 pin plug.

if it still has the numbers attached on the sticker... it will say A/T for auto or M/T for manual

take note of the plugs though.... thats something i forgot.
you cant plug an auto ecu into a manual loom, but you can run an auto ecu as a manaul (like when doing manual conversion)

heres the pinouts:
