Postby Skidman » Mon Oct 10, 2005 4:14 pm

Hey is there anybody out there that can tell me how much toyota suggests 3SGE gen1 yamaha heads can be skimmed by? (MAX)
Or dose anybody know how much can be taken off without running into valve clearance problems from experience?

Most heads have a little machined or cast flat on them that indicates the maximum depth of machining.

Could be something to check for.
