ok i have searched and no i found nothing really useful
as i dont know alot about this i am posting for you toyspeed gurus to help me out
am wanting to put in a set of cams what sort etc will give me good midrange power , will i need to use new pistons what is a good type ? i am planning on using silvertop rods will these be enough? trd head gasket and run it all with a link ecu . have already done exuast and intake .
how much power could be expected to be gained with a na rebuild and if anyone has imformation on who to contact for cams and pistons etc would be appreciated.
also does the vvt need to be disactivated in a blacktop with aftermarket cams?

email kalford cams or franklin cams and they will set you straight if you want big cams ditch the VVT, prolly not much use runing expensive pistons with what your after stick with blacktop pistons, and spend the money on valve springs an adjustable pullys so you can go lumpy
