Facelift bumper on pre facelift?

Postby Silent Knight » Thu Oct 13, 2005 12:34 pm

Hi all,

Right a suspect someone on here will have the answer I'm looking for. I've got a 91' pre facelift Soarer and I want to put on a 96' facelift front bumper and headlights etc.

Does anyone know wether the bumper will go straight on or will it need any sort of modification to get it on?

And if anyone maybe knows wether the headlights will need to be rewired or not?

I've never actually had a close up look of a facelift bumper etc so I have no idea how it is arranged and where/how it bolts on.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

Yea that would be my question, Sometimes with toyota stuff, facelift have different corner light numbers, which in some cases make the guards diffrent.
Same with headlights-diffrent bonnets.

You should be pretty safe though, only way is grab some tools, get a spare day and give it a shot.

I know the headlights are the same.....

And as per SC, the front bar is sposed to be the same but the turning lights/fog lights have different plugs.
