Hot Fuse in engine bay ?? Radioator fan not working.

Postby Adydas » Wed Oct 19, 2005 12:19 am

I would assume this is reason enuf to assume its causeing issues, but maybe its ment to have some heat..

I have one in the engine bay going to the EFI problem is car runs fine.. bar the Temp of the fuse and the Engine water temp going high as the Fan fails to turn on..

Any clues or should i look else where in the electrics to trace the problem..

History shows the car was fine untill Aircon was removed, Engine mounts were changed and water to air was re plumbed useing full hose and removing the hot pipes, as well as running the Water pump Full time by removing the water to air ECU box and tripping 3 pins with a plug to compleate the circuit ( this works as it should )..

The aircon fan was removed also to.

Stumped :/

I think you may find that the air con uses the fans when its turned on maybe a problem there.

the air con uses a seperate fan.. plus its been tripped / fooled to belive its still there.

So not that..

and the fuse thing is clear to.. didnt feel it was at fault

What triggers the fan to kick in and out?

My guess would be temperature...

When it reaches a certain temp fan turns on...
