Maybe people just dont like having ghey little appendages on their boot, i for one dont..

my brother despoilered his ae92, i think its looks better, although the factory ae92 spoiler isnt too bad.

all those aftermarket wings look crap.. the standard one looks better, and wont cost you a cent.. although then i guess its not different.

your car looks nice ants! even with chromes! haha

The AE111 spoilers could look okay on your car:

TRD spoiler:

You could also go with the stock AE111 - about the same height as your original one - just a little different:

I've got no clue if any of these would fit easily - just throwing out a couple more options :)

Totally agree... still prefer no spoiler even though the stock spoiler is alright.

Chromes? What chromes? Can't you see my signature? Must be the light bouncing of them, theyre just silver. Yeah I think it looks alright.

Those bomex ones...... whoa, theyre just too big! Seen those ones before, has to be those hard out asian boys that get those.

At the end of it all, if you're gonna do the spoiler, you have to do the whole package- it's about the lines of the car, you know, the one that Toyota spent $10's of millions of dollars developing?! Buy the full kit or make sure it co-ordinates with what you got, or it will look out of sorts on the car and therefore siht, whatever you buy...

IMO, there is no point on spending $$$'s on say, a front spoiler that ruins the side profile of the car, same as there's no point in buying a TRD spoiler when you only have standard suspension and minimal kit elsewhere on the car.

My advice is that if you see a decent piece of kit, think about how it will look on your car- if you think it will accentuate the car's appearance, grab it and do a decent install (I hate taped boot lids!). Whatever you do, make sure it's a complete job, or you'll never be happy, and if you have any doubts, walk.

Spoilered, despoilered, the levin looks fine- its the total package that counts.

Ahhh, feel much better now...

As I said that I would post up some images of my spoiler once it was fitted to my Levin. Just finished painting last week and fitted this morning. I'm quite happy with it, suits the lines of the factory kit nicely without being too "out there" and while I was happy with the despoilered look this is different. As far as I know there are only South Island cars with this as it was made by an importer down there for a batch that they brought in ages ago... they happened to have one left :D

The best kind of spoiler...

I left the wing on my ae92. But would have taken it off had I kept it.

Looked ok with one, they look ok without. I rekon the factory spoilers only really look good on the white ones....

But yeah... take it off. Or get a nice lip.

was at a time looking for a bmw style lip, but never got round to getting one, rekon wud b nice as you have somthing there to balance car out and also so that u dont have a purely flat boot lid

dont have images hosted anywhere
