Has anybody installed a HU into a 1993 trueno? i am having problems at the moment, for some reason the headunit will not recive power unless the ACC and 12v+ wires are both connected to the 12volt wire from the battrey, when i have the ACC conected to the approite wire from the car it dosnt seem to work? is there any soloution apart from running a new wire?

yea best bet, check your fuses and test the wires you are connecting before you do, make sure they are live

ive installed HUs into several levins but i brought a plug that plugs into the factory harness, have you done this or just cut the plug off??

i will presume that the key is in the acc position first

secondly is there a constant 12v power coming from one of the wires??

Get a multi-meter and test the wire's that should be what they are, it's not hard to do by yourself without the factory plug, but if it's there it helps. How are you attaching the wires to the loom of the HU? Do you have some crimping clips? or a chocolate block?
