fiberglass parts...

anyone know/recommend a place to go to get fiberglass parts fitted/modifyed a little to mount to my car..

ive got gaurds, front valance and bonnet to go on my ke26...
they are moulds so they are basically bolt on but need a bit of modgy work to get em mint..
also they have no holes in etc...
(is fiberglass ok to drill into/ will it crack??)

any help would be awesum!! :D

im in chch region as well...

dont know anyone in ch that can help ypu..
you can drill it easy just make sure the drill has a highish rpm and you will be sweet
SW20, a work in progress for 2 years now, all i need to do now is work on it

i have done quiet a bit of fibreglass work, do you want me to have a look and see if im able to do it for you?

If you are drilling fibreglass a good trick is to put some masking tape on the gelcoat and then drill through that.

This will help to keep the Gelcoat from cracking.

Also if possible use an air powered drill for this.

wen u say gel coat.. u mean just the top surface of the fiberglass??

correct - gel coat is the 1st layer into the mould after the releasing wax/agent, then on go the layers of glass matting.

Providing your kit was made with gel coat that is. It's usually white
