That might explain it. As Bazda said, 1470kg needs more power than believable from his mods to get a 176kph trap speed, especially with a 4WD drivetrain.

Wrong again mark - that was mainly stripped - still had front seat in and door trims and boot side trims - but nothing else...

Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

On pump gas also and i plan on changing my wheels as they are five kilo's heavier each than stock wheels, adding 20 kgs to my drive train

pfff plastic side panels take off 1kg thats going to make lots of difference....
all u need to take out is the front seat and spare tyre. rear seats hardly weigh anything. and door trims meh i dotn even bother with that stuff to save maybe 5-10kg of plastic.

You need to do what a honda boy does, "strip" means nothing but a steering wheel and gear lever + speedo.

Actually the rear seats weigh 30 kg in the caldina and the front is about 12 not to mention all the god damm shit in the boot . That all together is the difference of having a passenger and not having a passenger.

0.2 that makes a 13.4 sec 1/4 mile with out any more performance thats a pretty cheap gain if you ask me.

in my experience, a thorough stripping of the interior makes a big arse difference. On my celica I removed pretty much everything behind the front seats, the heater, the door trims, the rear spoiler, the back bumper reinforcement, back window wiper, electric antenna....the difference was phenomenal. It felt like a completely different car.

Difference at the strip? Well before doing it, I went to the drags and after several good runs managed to get my time down to a 13.46. After stripping, I only got one good run, first run when I arrived and it was a 13.101 - possibly would've reached 12's if luck had been on my side that night.

Also saw about 0.15 come off my 60ft
