build quality is still reasonable for the sony amplifiers, and they nearly meet rated output specs, but you can get better for the same amount spent :)

Okay, this is pretty random but i have used the search function and can't find an answer. I have subs in the back of my car but How do I attach them to the actual car. I don't want them loose and rolling round and stuff. they are in a box, I suppose I should have sed that earlier. I just need to know how to attach the box to the car.

Cheers

use some L-brackets and attach to the board underneath your boot carpet (not the best) or more appropriately bolt L bracket to the boot floor :)

Its on a Sony Headunit, not mine so don't hate me. I am not sure of the wire colours because the person has gone home now with their car but I will try to find out tomorrow.

also, there is a hole in the back of the HU that says Remote but I am not sure if this is like the remote plug to an amp cos I have never seen one before. What do they look like? this one is about One female RCA plug size, does this sound right?

It's for one of the wired remotes that screw onto the steering column or where ever you want to put it. Like everyone's already said on here, you're entitled to your opinion, and we all have a different one. I've used pioneer head units for years, but swapped to a sony MD head unit I got out of england earlier this year. I've had no trouble with it at all, so I'd be happy to recommend one. I've never used sony amps, so I couldn't say either way. What I can say is I've had a soundstream SA205 amp and a USA 12" DVC sub for literally YEARS and they've always run perfectly. As for the rest of the speakers? I've tried soundstream, panasonic, boston acoustics, jbl, rockford, alpine, crossfire and polk audio. My choices would be bostons or polk audio.

Feel free to agree or disagree, that right is entirely yours.
