AE92 GT - Engine Check light

hey guys,

am having some issues with my engine check light... after using it in a rally it now comes on periodically.

Can anyone tell me what the story is with checking the fault code? Does the engine light have to be on when you check it? I heard something along the lines of having to short out some wires...

The car seems to be misfiring quite a bit at low revs too.

In your engine bay you will have a small Diagnostic box.

Get a little wire and bridge E1 and TE1 terminals.

Turn the car to 'ON' - Meaning don't start it.

Look at the engine check light and count the flashes and write the numbers down. Each number will mean something different.

Flashes will be as follows:

1 1 1 1........1 1 1 1 1 wich will mean Code: 45
