hi guys/girls was thinking off selling my corolla and wanted to no what sort of price i could expect to get for it

its a 1986 corolla gt sedan jap import

inside is mint ,has jvc headunit and 12 stacker with 4" fusion speakers

its white ,body is good for its age, has two lil spots of rust nufin bad tho

factory alloys with new tyres

has done 189000kms but motor was swaped 2000kms ago with an later model smallport redtop ,unknown kms but goes mint

5spd reg and wof

only worth what someone is willing to pay, i wouldnt pay more than 2000 personally.

fxgts still sell for at least $1500 with over 200thou kms, and gt sedans are slightly harder to find in good cond

About $1200 or so, depends on rust.

I paid $2200 for an AE92 gt sedan two years ago.

I sold my 1986 GT hatch for $1500 with no sounds etc.

Mint dash and stuff, the elather seats were ripped though. But thats expected.
Was tidy and mechanicaly sweet as.

hmmm yeah i'd say around $2-3000 if its nice and mint.
I'm struggling to find NZ new ones under $3000 at them moment :(
Most expensive original one i've found so far has been $5000 8O

Yeah only reason i went so low was because of shitty paint on the roof and some other minor spots and a bit of panel damage.

I sold it with spare panels though. Wrong colour but hey.

Never knew people were into the NZnews so much. The GT's are good though, no power anything. Just engine, light chassey and you. Let the fun begin :)

in an ideal world, thats how it should be... but munters are paying silly money for them these days... it astounds me how much the market has changed in the last year

Yours is a hatch, the classic 'FXGT' - they are rapidly attaining a cult status, and have always priced higher than their actual worth.
On the other hand, the topic is about a corolla gt sedan. Much rarer maybe, but also much less sought after and recognised.
