yeah due to the fact that all car prices have dropped so even well sort after valuable cars are cheaper due to the degrading economy .

I sold my ST185 for those reasons. Fuel use (weight and 4WD), reliability and the major... cost of repairs. I am mechanically minded but didn't have the time/money/patience/resources to do the car justice. It was coming up on 230k so you would have to expect things to start to show signs of wear. The GT-Z is much better on gas, quicker, and way easier to work on.

I still have a soft spot for the GT4's but I don't think that I will be going back to them.

Strange ... shouldn't have been that much of a price difference. When you said "fill it up", did you mean top up, or fill from empty?

The petrol tanks are enormous in those things (70 litre iirc). If its running higher than factory boost (or anything over 10psi), you don't want to use anything less than 98.

It was almost empty, like in between 1/4 and empty.
So it'll probably be around $70ish to fill?
Do RC's have slightly smaller tanks?

Incorrect, well sought after cars are going up in price...look at the KE series cars at the moment...

A car is only worth what someone will pay for it... 8)

I'd say something might be wrong with the fuel guage. The RC's have a 68lt tank & it costs me around $90-110 depending on the price of 98 to fill the tank from empty (red light)

Cheers, Mark

$60 / $1.44 per litre = 41.66L

Your tank wasn't empty :D
I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.

I was getting roughly the same mileage as a 5.7 litre V8 in my GT-Four (compared figures with a work associate with a 2002 Commodore). That was just before the old engine blew up.

With the new engine / turbo, I was getting roughly 375 to 425km per full tank ($90 to $100 worth of fuel).

heh, I consider that to be bad... I used to drive a curren(~180HP?), and got 500km off ~50L round town(~700 on trip)... changed to a Legacy GW(169HP), got 350-400 round town(~550 on trip) off ~55L, have now got a RunX(180+HP 1.8 vvtl-i Corolla), and get ~520 of ~45L round town... can't wait to take it on a decent trip.

Me too ... I'm getting 450km from $50 now. Better performance from the car too, ironically enough :P

it wasnt BONE dry but i wouldnt have thought the gap left on the guage represented such a huge amount left, But must be. Some cars 1/4 of a tank = like 30ks before Light comes on. This musnt be the case here.

No no 95 was put in it at present, i was whoreyish in the ST165 but not in this. Gahh..

Still not bad echonomy ( typoooo )..

130ks = 15 litres or there abouts.
