Rattly inlet cam, Rattly teshioner.... Rattly engine in general lol.

Worn syncros, and check it has all the bling bits you want.

Face lift headlights, tail lights, maybe recaros, tweeters (i think these are factory with bz-rs anyway), and make sure shes got an lsd (hey, never know, someone could have had some fun in the past... even put a 5speed in *snicker*.

Fairly reliable cars.

problems ive had with mine are gearbox (synchros) and big end bearing in engine. think its gone again   but other than that, im overwhelmed by the power to fuel consumption. ive done about 6000kms in the last 1 1/2 months purely because my car is the cheapest to run on road trips out of my mates, without having to be stuck beind trucks with no power to pass *3rd gear at 90* :D

Thanks, I assume an AA check would cover all of these issues? From my bit of research i thought bz-rs come with LSD standard? Are recaros standard as well?

And yes im quite interested because of the fuel consumption to performance ratio on these...Others id like to look into are the autech pulsar and maybe a lancer mivec.

Thanks guys.

It would be a miracle if an AA check successfully managed to find and operate the bonnet catch. Go to a Toyota dealership, or a trusted mechanic, and pay them an hours labour to go over the car carefully for you.

Say it with me folks "AA are monkeys"

Try a VZR Pulsar instead of the Autech as they are 1600cc VVT

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem but a week after I got my car there was a knocking sound coming from the right-rear.

I think it's the strut or something - but I just turn my music up louder.

yep... ~155 is when it hits the rev limiter so it doesn't often get to this.

The Autech ones also have a really nice kit, front err, bumper bit and small spoiler anyway, but looks damn fine.
