I seem to recall that it was for better torque charatoristics... but itwas a while back that I read about it

essencially they re-tuned it, took out a fairly big flat spot, and increased the HP and torque figures, and used the engine... nice

vtecs are for people who cant drive cars with real power......
vtec is what people with boost put up with all the time...its called lag
