Right.. Im so lost things dont add up and i dont understand why.
Firstly the Radiator temp at speeds ( ie motorway ) the temp guage reads right down to C and off highway it raises to the center between H and C.
Should it really drop 1/4 + on the guage due to getting 100kph winds cooling the radiator? or is somthing iffy going on? Is this a stock normal thing to happen as i was allways under the impression all cars ran in the middle? even at speeds
2ndly is regarding the boost.. tuned it with an Apexi AVCR to 1 bar @ 59% Duty Cycle. After about 2 days it was creeping hard out and boost cutting.. So ive alterd it down up left and right and it cant get a steady setting. is it possible with an old turbo and W/G it could be going naff and these are warning signs.. OR is it something else??
also if i tune it to about .9 bar it spikes to that for a smidge but then bleeds off quite fast. The reason i ask is Both the ST165 and ST185 have done this all after about a week of running fine and dandy at high boost.
