Whats the maximum boost you would want to make using the stock supercharger on a 4agze that would be reliable?

S/C Rotor Teflon melts above 15 - 16 psi, AE101 E.C.Us are only mapped for 14psi so wouldnt go above this anyways.

AFM AE92 can be run slightly higher boost I think, not certain on mapped AE92 thou??? do a search

I get 13 - 14psi with an Evil-Si 175mm Pulley kit on my AE101 (Smaller S/C pulley)

I was getting 9 psi with abv Mod, 10 psi max on a cold night, with factory Pulley (145mm).

I fitted one of Simons 165mm pulleys to a friends 101 and he was getting 12 - 13 psi, I think EvilSi said anywhere up to 16 psi with a 175mm kit depending on S/C condition.

Mind you 14psi with a Heat soaked Top mount cooler is very noticable - ie - big powerloss Ive noticed

and destroy the supercharger in a matter of days...

be very amusing through ^_^

I think if you are going to drive the charger above 15psi youd be better jumping on the turbo bandwagon
It starts developing more heat than useable pressure from what I understand.
My blower screams its nuts off in the higher RPM range with the Big pulley, Overdriving it even further would make yah cringe :?

as said 14psi is reliable. stock everything is fine

17psi goes a lot better but with out a decent intercooler is a waste, and traction is a pain in the ass.
on map sensed engines it will hit boost cut.

21 psi and you will destroy a blower on average every 3 days.
