4age/ze Oil pressure sender leak?

Just wondering if the oil pressure sender on 4age/ze's are known to leak.
I have an oil leak around that area on my mr2 and the sender unit looks like it may be the culprit, although it is hard to tell as the airflow under the car is obviously speading the oil around a bit.

I have recently replaced rocker cover gaskets, distributor O'rings, camshaft and crankshaft oil seals so these shouldnt be the problem.

Any thoughts?

when you replaced the dist o'rings- did you replace both the outer and inner ones?(you suggest you did, but just checking). Sometimes, on the inner one the shaft wears a notch in it and prevents the new seal from actually working.
just a thought anyway.

yeah replaced both dizzy seals

Well, my AE101 GTZ developed a leak in the oil pressure sensor switch.

Get it fixed before the leak damages the "fan" belts.

check the camshaft seals ,one of my Levins dribbled oil big time,I thought it was the oil sender unit(hard to get a good look)but it was the camshaft seals,it seems to send the oil to the front of the engine.These seals will leak badly if fitted slightly off straight.May pay to look there first.
