Here's some stuff I cut off a website, it think it was turbocorolla.com? The stuff below relates to an AE82 conversion, a couple have been done in Aus and were featured in a Hot 4's or Fast Fours.

"for the shafts, you need celica st185 shafts with SC outer CV's (thats what people do when building mk1.5 mr2's) and you can keep your standard hubs!

FWIW, all that is required to convert the sw20 box for fwd is to replace the shift arm with one from a fwd E series box, and plug up the hole left by the old arm. The arms shouldn't be hard to come across, infact I have a spare

However, for some reason sw20 boxes seem to be priced a lot higher than fwd celica/curren etc ones, so its probably not worth it.

3SGTE ST185. Fueling- ST185 Group A Fuel Pump, Twin Cam EFI Fuel Tank, Twin Cam 5/16" Main Line and 1/4" Return/Vapour Lines. VR Commodore Inline Fuel Filter 5/16"
Driveline: MR2 Turbo LSD Gearbox, MR2 Turbo LSD Shafts with ST185 Outer CV Joints, 5 Puck Ceramic Button Clutch Sprung Centre 1100kg Pressure Plate.

Other Mods: Custom 350x300x65mm intercooler, Blitz Dual SBC Boost Controller, 3" mandrel bent SS exhaust straight through, 3" K&N Pod Filter, AE92 Levin Front Struts w/ 258x22 Discs and Single Spot Levin Caliper w/ Metal King pads, Twin Cam Rear End w/ Discs, ST165 JDM Bucket Seats, Twin Cam Instrument Display, ST185 Twin Core Radiator w/ Twin 10" Davies Craig Thermofans, ST185 Brake Booster / master Cylinder, SV11 Camry Radiator Overflow Bottle, NGK Iridium Plugs, Front Mounted ST185 Intercooler and Transmission Cooler, Bonnet Pins as latch was removed.

SUSPENSION:
Front - Koni Adjustable Shocks, -25mm Jumboz springs 220lb/inch, Polyeurathane bushes, Positive Caster Kit giving +1.5 degree caster. Twin cam swaybar. Custom Strut Brace.
Rear - KYB Heavy Duty Shocks, -25mm Jumboz springs 200lb/inch, Whiteline Adjustable 18mm Swaybar, Polyurethane trailing arm bushes, Front / Rear Camber kit.

TYRES: 205/50/15 Falken Azenis Real Sports (Front) 195/50/15 Yokohama A509 (Rear)
Horsepower: 149kw @ wheels

heh, been considering a 3sgte replacement when my wifes rav4 engine kicks the bucket(making bad noises sometimes). reckon it'll be a fun little machine if/when it happens.

yeah, just thought about it... if you hit 130km in the wet the little 3 door becomes "fun" so maybe the 3sgte isn't the best idea.
