Got a few bits left over from the gear i've bought, since i'm now running active and using the fancy Supremo tweeters. The gear is up for offers : make me a good offer and you'll probably get them, otherwise i'll keep them and make some nice bookshelves or put them in the cupboard for a side project or something If you're in ChCh and are keen to buy them, i can drop them off on this coming weekend This stuff is all made by DLS in Sweden - DLS have more current sound quality competition placings than any other brand on the planet.

DLS Iridium 3-way Crossovers
2-way crossover for the midbass and tweeter, plus seperate bandpass crossover for the mid. Lowpass for Midbass is 350Hz, Highpass for tweeter is 7kHz, Bandpass for midrange is 350Hz-7kHz

And when you say its got spl to boot, how much spl would that be compared to the likes of a 3512?

Doesnt have the lowest Fs, especially compared to some of the RE and adire subs, does this sub still like to get down low and dirty?

I want something with killer lows hence me waiting for adire.. which seem to never come

Less than a 3512 at the top end of output, but still good. Probably like 3/4 the output capability of a 3512... they still get loud, some Russian guys held the world SPL record for their class for around 5 months using these

Plenty low enough in ported, which they suit. Port it to 28Hz and you'll get flat response below audability. Plus, good luck fnding music down there to try it with that isnt test tones

If you really want some fun, do a low tuned ABC with one of these, they're tight enough in ported to still sound nice as in one but the output is pretty decent too... and remember, this is the same sub used by all 5 of the top 5 competitors at the Europe IASCA finals

Hmm its for my SQ needs thats the only reason i want it to play low tones, seems like a suitable woofer. I dont want a big oaf of a box taking up most of my boot (abc) all the time, how would this sound in a smallish sealed box for every day use. Like a 10 or so L box? I could make it amphoric, ampedic or what ever that A word is where you put a breathable material over a port type of thing to simulate a larger box, allthough with no real spcific information it would be more trial and error, thickness of material to use etc etc.

Unfortuantly i have pretty much ran my funds dry How soon do you want to sell this thing?

I'm in no hurry. 10L is too small for almost any 12", but would work OK aperiodic
