Reccomended oil catchcan 4 4age

Postby ChaosAD » Tue Nov 29, 2005 5:51 pm

Hey, I currently have a drink botle as an oil catch can on my worked bluetop. I feel it is time to upgrade to something more permanant and wish to use the car in msnz events.

I cant use one of the cans off trademe as they are too small so what does everyone reccomend?

Found Somewhere wrote:Oil Catch cans catches the oil and moisture in the blow-by gas that causes carbon and sludge build-up in the intake system and the engine. It keeps the engine clean even under hard driving conditions
Oil catch can is used to reduce the oil vapours from going into the air intake charge. The oil vapours will contaminate the intake charge by mixing with the air and fuel that are used to create combustion. This catch can would reduce burn efficiency and decrease detonation risk in both turbo or Non turbo cars

Well then why do you keep trying to make posts in the tech section when you obviously have no clue about what's going on most of the time...
