Yes Mintye make semi metalics for the rear which we can supply for you (i have a set on my car) and these worked perfectly on the track at Taupo but i did notice fade after several laps at manfiled (which may or may not be related to the pads in question).

I would not reccommend EBC greenstuffs although i use them for street use - there are equivalent pads for a fraction of the price. I also faded these very easily coming down ruapehu.

Mintex M1166's are FANTASTIC - best pads ive ever used - vert dirty though. Also work well from cold (very first application of the day feel a tad "wooden" and fine after that).

if your pedal is going spongy its a fluid problem as has been pointed out
go get some dot 5.1 and flush ya system with that

if its still a issue

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

could you give some details on this, I like ABS on the road, but for track use it is a pain, so disabling it would be handy. yes yes, I could use search, but you guys are handy as hell, and the search button is all the way up the top of the page.

Speaking of switches Inane, hows the new one going? any more advances to the on the fly idea?

And i dont feel tyres size really relevant as my car did the same thing on 15's all the time, very intrusive at the worst times. The pedal on these is a bit spongy feeling to me and i have slight fade on the odd ocassion when going quickly in tight twisty stuff. E.G Takaka hill had to use engine alot.

Just like the bloody stability control when it comes on just as the tail steps out and ya counter BEEP>>>BEEP>>>BEEP scares the crapp outta ya at first.

Holiday, last xmas! Even Aucklanders have enough sense to know that the souths got the real beauty and weather.
Note that after i boasted to my girlfriend that nelson had the best weather, we got rained on nearly every day we were there! Arrived back in Aucks on Anniversary weekend and got solid sun.
Guess there was no love shown to me by the south. Loved the east coast roads though Fast and free of filth................. and litter!

Easy way to disable ABS:
Find a blown fuse (any rating), carefully cut the plastic cover of the fuse so that you can solder 2 wires to the 2 metal parts of the fuse, connect the wires to a switch and an inline fuse of the correct rating for the ABS.
Find the ABS fuse inside the car (the fuse for the ABS computer not the pump) Pull the fuse out and plug your modified fuse in.
This can be easily returned to standard when you sell the car (or for WOFs if they work out what the switch does).

But then youve got no fuse, should something turn to crap in your electrical system when you have ABS turned on.

Wrong - re-read Kens post - you will see mention of inline fuse....
