.. And that's how i have a nail in my rear left tyre. Any idea how much it would cost for me to get it changed? I'm absolutely zeroed at the moment so it's pointless for me to go in and ask for a quote.. It's a 15" wheel.

I'm just looking for a guesstimate, $xx /$xxx? 100-200?

It cost me $20 to get my puncture fixed at Mag & Turbo.

If you need a new tire, I don't think it will cost more than $100 to get e new one.

Have fun!

Someone must off bought a rotten banana from Pak and Save

Hard luck with that bro. I had a screw quite deep in my tyre in my mates driveway once. Pain in the arse. Was $25 to get fixed.

Oh that's class

Now it appears i need a thin wall socket to get the wheel off, mine's too thick to get any grip through the deep advanti holes. Going to check the ruitine in a few minutes, supercheap, repco etc.

So much hassle >_< And yes, it appears it's a thick screw, now that i took a closer look. It's leveled with the tyre.

I had a rusty nail in one of my back tyres in January after i bought the car off Dad. It was a slow leak for MONTHS (even went up to Lake Tekapo and back on it) and then after doing the 'laps' in town one Friday (which i don't do anymore) i woke up the next morning and it was flat. I think it happened in August or something.

Anywho, took it to Challenge in Caversham, $20 later it was all fixed. But will not be going back to them as they didn't have a wheel removing machine for alloy wheels - so mine ended up getting quite scratched. :(

Usually for these you need a special locknut-style extension, you'll have to go to a Mag shop to get something that will fit, they're made for slimline wheelnuts.

If you get stuck, the warewhare have a heap of different sockets there... and if they last more than one use, it's all good.

Or a parsnip. Mmm, parsnips.

I'll be going to mag and turbo straight away i guess, if they don't have one for sale maybe i'll manage to borrow it and bring it back with a job for them to do for a whole 20$ minus material costs.
