I'd imagine it'd be easier to set-up that ebc on a dyno, rather than the road.

Sounds interesting tho.

Having the system start off at full duty cycle (ie: no boost), and lowering the duty cycle till you reached the boost level your after would reduce the risk of damaging anything..... wonder why they didn't do it that way.

Hey.
Here's a PDF of those articles in case people don't have access to the site...

Autospeed.com.au Independent Electronic Boost Controller Article Part 1
Autospeed.com.au Independent Electronic Boost Controller Article Part 2

I haven't tried one. But the concept is good and the kit real cheap (compared to other aftermarket stuff). If it works half as well as they claim then it'd be quite good I'd say.

That boost controller is awesome, what a wicked idea. Set up right, that would be much better than any electronic or manual boost controller out there, at a fraction of the cost.

Can you get these kits at jaycar?

Jaycar stuff is cool, ive got a DFA and A/F Ratio. Very good stuff, cant speak for the boost controller but the kits I have are very good. Just be prepared to take the time to build them.

Well my plans for installing one of these has gone down the pipes

The guy I bought it off Trade-me (James McCombe - Maukau City) has done the dirty. I've never rec'd it & he's not replying to my e-mails. Trade me have now suspended his account.

So if any ppl know this person - have a word to him  & get him to coff up..

Thanks Cliff - if you could that would be great - I tried the ph book but couldn't see anything there.

I'd still like to get the EIBC to see if I can get it to work (he was selling it caus he said it wasn't working)

Bit far for me to travel to call around to find the guy & talk to him

How's the RC going? - did you do that wee mod re the boost?
