Shocks, pads, alignment, and of course you're getting it serviced / checked out since it was obviously caned to a rather unpleasant degree by the f*ckers who stole it ...

Right?

But yeh, you know I'm keen to line them up bro. Whens Meremere free again? :P

Shot for reminding me.

I'm gonna have it booked into Midas.. they do free vehicle checks. I'll just give them the low down... "Car was stolen, thrashed, bashed and crashed... what's wrong and what needs fixing??"

Midas 8O

You think they're going to do a proper check for free? They'll find a few things they can replace, and charge you money for  No doubt theres a few good Midas garages out there, but why take a chance?

I can give you the number of a *damn* good garage on the Shore. Or I can give you the number of a friend who works for Albany Toyota. Either one would be a million times better than Midas :?

8am Saturday morning.

It's Midas for a reason bro~ My ability to pay is nil. Not sure if some on the fly garage who hasn't delt with me before will let me settle the bill 2 weeks later. Midas will.

Fair enough. In that case, I suggest you insist that you stay there the whole time your car is being worked on, and watch what they do, and what they check. Make sure they go over everything with a fine toothed comb.

Yeah bro, absolutely. That's one thing you've taught me. I'm always the nosey customer when it comes to a mechanic working on my car. I've had a dodgy mechanic before.. never again!

I'll be watching like a hawk~

Good stuff. Let me know if you wanna suss out a good mechanic (they're on the shore, but still ... they're really good, so worth the travel imo).

Yeah bro, Midas should be fine to change some brake pads, the shocks and do a generic service + wheel alignment.

I wouldn't have them do any major work..

I might hit your mech up in Jan/Feb when I get the head fitted.
