AE111 Trueno Pre-Facelift Spotlights

Postby RoadskiN » Mon Dec 05, 2005 4:10 pm

Hey

My car is a 96 BZG (Pre-Facelift) and I've recently put some Facelift taillights into my car and have decided I want to install some Facelift crystal headlights into my car as well, but the thing is that my factory spotlights are a yellow colour in lens and/or in bulb and won't suit the crystal headlights at all.

I didn't really want to buy a whole new facelift front bumper along with round spotlights just for such a small issue.

Is it possible to modify the current spotlight lens to be clearer/less yellow with changing the bulbs or to get aftermarket pre-facelift trueno spotlight lens' that are already the crystal type?

Its not meant to be that yellow. When I got my trueno one foglight was yellowing and one was clear, get some jif or Brasso onto them and it will make them clear again.

Oh right, I was thinking it was just miscolouring but both are exactly the same yellowness and assumed it was just how they were. The car is a fresh import, it might just be pollen or something.

Thanks, anyway :)

Yeah, my R34 headlights were like that. A bit yellowy, used cut & polish and they came up crystal clear.
