I think there should be a couple of dedicated FAQ mods setup on the boards. That way people can put stuff in FAQ that belongs there and not jst let it slide down the endless list which is Tech Section...

I can't recall the amount of times I've posted guides to do the most simplest things ie. do a diag test with photos and all the error meanings. Stuff like that, wich is relative to all Toyotas will be good to have in the FAQ section for quick troubleshooting...

I suggested this some time ago and I offered to do it, but the arbitrary powers that be were/are too insecure/arrogant/stupid/immature to countenance it.

Actually, the arrogance is your own anthony

We've seen the results of area dedicated moderators before, and it all starts out with a hiss and a roar, then dies off.
Perhaps if people find threads worthy of the FAQ can post the link here, then myself or one of the others can edit it and move it.

How do you know? Knowing what you are talking about is not arrogance BTW. And what is more arrogant that moderators who suggest that those who dare question their authority shut up or fsck off?

Have we, where?

So telling people how to do their job isnt arrogance?

NZPC forums for one, and localised area moderators here. Maybe you havent, but I wasnt meaning you when I said we.

Only someone insecure about their ability to do their job would look at it that way.

I think having tech section only moderators is a good idea...

Some of the people here are only really interested in the tech section, and couldnt give two shits about policing off topic/multimedia/regions etc. etc.
