volume changes

Postby scope » Thu Dec 08, 2005 10:53 pm

hello

there is probably a simple explanation to this question but i haven't a clue so... when i am driving playing music, it will randomly go quieter for a while then back to what it was and keep repeating that process. is one of my connections bad? it's only just started doing this, has been fine for atleast 5-6 months. if it means, anything it's not a cd, does it on all cds i play and i have a pioneer deh-p7750mp

cheers for any help

check connections :) - also, your headunit may have a auto volume adjustment setting on (if it has it..) go through menus/manual and check if it does and if it is on or not.

hey there, ive got a DEH-P7550MP and its got this thing called a "automatic sound levelizer". basically when turned on it monitors the sound level in the car and adjusts the volume accordingly.

quite frankly i find this highly irritating so i dont have it turned on. maybe sumone was fiddling with your settings and turned it on by mistake/ddnt know what they were doing

well hope this helps
