Blacktop cams into silvertop

Anyone tried this and used the silvertop 20v ecu etc??? I'm thinking of it at this stage.

Its only the intake thats changed in duration.
I can't see why you would need to change the ECU. Its only a mild duration and lift change and the silvertop with AFM is more resiliant to change than the MAPed blacktop

Yes it's just an idea at the moment as i'll be getting a silvertop 20v and would like to try it without changing too much in the hardware side of things.

should be fine, I was going todo this at one stage then sold them on to someone else who was gona do it, just make sure you use the blacktop vvt pully, not much reason to change exhuast cam apart from been a lil lighter

I'm running them, make sure you check all valve clearances when you do it, use black top cam pulleys, VVT pulley is better and silver top ones have pins in diffrenet place ...
