would this fit

Postby Meadzy » Tue Dec 13, 2005 8:17 am

I am buying a fxgt strutbrace off trademe but dont know if it would fit my fx-g because it is carburated and has the airfilter which looks lke its a tad higher than the strut tower.

So if anyone knows if it will fit, their knowledge would be appreciated.

Should fit but you may need a hammer.

You could just fit a ramflo or something like that if you really want a strut brace :D

Ask him more some mearsurements and have a measure up. Always works well 8)

Don't modify the strut brace if you can help it, may take some of the rigidity out of it and therefore render it redundant.

My 4a-f powered ae95 has a ae92 strut brace on it no hassels, some of the vacume controls on the firewall had to be re mounted, otherwise fine.
