Palmy does suck. Was out last night with some mates, we spilt off from the our friends (2 chics) and went to jones while they stayed at highflyers.
Got a call about 40mins later saying help help outside murphys, we were just on our way back anyway so sprinted down there. A maori guy had tried to steal one of our friends bags, and the her friend jumped in and told the guy to $&#$% off. That guy then smacked her in the face and 4 of his mates came over and started kicking her!!
By the time we got there they we long gone. She got away with a broken rib, cut lip and black eye.
FOR $&#$% SAKE who the $&#$% hits a chic? The girls bf is in the army, and he was there just after us but took off to find these guys with a load of his army mates. Stupid $&#$% end to what would have been a good night.

Man that sucks, I always knew that there were some aggro people out there, used to get a few when I worked the fri and sat graveyaard at the BP Cnr Ferguson and Princess, but still to beat up women, thats just F#@kin low (what a piece of S%#t) did the womans BF find the guys ??

I agree, what kind of REAL man goes around hitting women ?.
It takes more of a man to walk away from a hostile situation in my opinion. But I guess some ppl just have to be "the man" to all "their boyz". pffft !.
Certainly got me wheels turning mate.

can't call the lagoon a beach, otherwise it's more like 45 mins 2 the beach and 2 and a bit hours to the ski field - if you go the way i do that is

thank god for the skinheads here in palmy i say, these $&#$% skummy black guyz tried to attack me and my mate when we were walking home through town on friday night and this bunch of hott skin head guyz came and saved us!!!!!!
but yeah, i can think of worse places to live!!! but im just sick of all the skummy people here!!!!, especially skum who attack girls

try 10mins to your choice of one of 3 _proper_ surf beachs
or a hour to some snow

Been to New Plymouth and must say that it is not a bad place to holiday... If its got tits, tyres or an aerial its gonna cost ya!!!!
