Iv been looking for a turbo 4age for ages to use just as a race car. Does this have much potential? What is the max boost you would wanna run through a 4agte? How many more ks do you think this would have left in it?
Is it worth it?

seems quite nice, 8 unanswered questions =) to busy to respond? not really keen on selling? or sumthing wrong so wont answer questions?
well hey maybe its xmas
think 20psi is the limit on stock gz engine, as far as ks on it depends on car itself but sum ppl have had no problems with turbo conversions with 200ks on the clock.
yea as said below map then ecu only take 14psi, didnt notice was map

Looks like you are looking at a MAP 4agze late model AE92.
Factory computer will handle 14psi... with a good intercooler you will get a lot of power with this boost.
Strong gearbox - sometimes with LSD
As a race car... my opinion:
- fairly common car so not hard to get new panels or a new shell if you bend it
- fwd with high power means power understeer, but if you work on the handling bias and HOW YOU DRIVE IT, you will be fine
- weight 1070kg from the factory... probably get it below 1000kg with a cage and race seat (and no interior), power to weight will be good.
- brakes, you might be able to mod the AE101 superstrut big front brakes to fit.
- suspension, loads of options as almost anything from any fwd corolla, trueno, levin or fxgt will fit. Don't immediately stick the biggest swaybars you can find into it as stiffer often means less grip! Do your homework first!
NOTE - often it will be cheaper and quicker to buy an existing racecar than to build one up! However, I have had a lot of fun building my car as well as racing it.

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

What type of racing and what class?
In most NZ motorsports the class regs are 1600 NA, 2000cc Turbo, so you'll end up competing against the likes of a SR20DET, EJ20, 3SGTE. Its a big ask in a small engine.

The answer is Helmholtz!

Id imagine them to be asking for 8 around or even more, or even less.
if u wanted to start from scrathc it wud b round 7-8 i think at the end of the day.
but if u were going to be using it as a track car you could also maybe get it cheaper without mags etc. or you could sell those things after.
