why are you even on a car forum man? lol

its a 1600 (1586?) cc 4 cylinder n/a engine, known as a 4A-GE. in SILVERTOP 20 Valve form here.

the silver cam cover sort of gives it away :P

Thank you. There is no answer to that question.

i still cant understand why your spending money modding your daily driver, your ment to leave it as a " hack " to get to and from work and use the cash you used on that on your Real project car thats full of BHG goodness in the garage.

yeah i know cliff, its kinda unfortunate timing.
But the redtop was leaking more than a bottomless bucket.
red tops in good nick seem to be going for stupid dollars.

thanks to Lee i got the engine package for $400.
Probably cost me a couple of hundy on top of that to do the conversion so far.

while i was at it i found 2 engine mounts that were naffed, so hopefully once the car is going again it will feel alot nicer (was shaking abit before)

And if all else fails and i need the $$ for the supra i can sell the fxgt which will have a higher resale point now due to the engine conversion.

but yeah supra is now a project car and can wait.

But to keep you happy. it got some new toys for Xmas. stay tuned. 8)

oh conversion silvertop 20v into an ae92 fxgt

cheers

dont leave it parked up next to the supra for too long,
