It was colin on his first time out there on the bike... Nutter. Was just doing bye runs, averaged around 11.3 ish (yamaha R1), bikes have raced against cars in the past though.

He reckoned there's a LOT more traction for a bike there - he got a wheel up in a big way his first run, came back with his hands shaking

$&#$% yes I am gonna be racing hard, it's gonna be wicked

Take the EX lancer beast out, see if I can cut a 16, would be stoked if it did.

I'm gonna enter in the burnout comp and probably win that eh

$&#$% stoked, I cut some mean as times with my $600 weapon!

Got a 16.511@80.21 MPH

Keep in mind it's a $50 engine powering it to victory!

Was really stoked, was SO much fun, a little disapointed about heat seizing the engine in the burnout comp, but I've got a bigger radiator out of a 2L twin cam 24 valve straight six 2000GT celica to go in, hopefully it's not too wide.

I think I need an oil cooler as well as the oil got so hot that it wouldn't get any oil pressure at idle!!!!!

I noticed when I was skidding it up that there was steam coming out from under the bonnet, but I just ignored it, the guage was right up on the H, but I had to keep skidding on, just to impress the crowd with my box beast.

The 4G63's certainly create a lot of heat! Might have to put in another fan as well, I'll see how it goes!

Well, i didn't pop an eager, so they should still be good for another burnout comp!

Great time had by all!

Like I said on the night - if you'd kept the skids going for another 30 seconds before each run, you might have taken down that silvia!

Is that blue MR2 on this forum? Best looking example of that car I've seen in the flesh, ever. Shame it was slow, but that happens.

Yes he is. Did you see the clutch smoke coming from it? Thats why it wasn't the fastest.

Yep clutch=toast, its run in the mid 13s before so we knew something wasn't right and as soon as the clutch started smokeing we narrowed the problem down to the clutch

Cheers. If you want the wheels you'll have to get in line i got quite a few offers for them on tuesday night one asian guy even offered me $3500 for them but i don't think i'll be selling them anytime soon.

$3500.... I assume then they're proper TE37's and not the rip-off type (don't get offended... but I dunno how to tell!)

Ahhh so it was clutch smoke then, looked from where we were to be oil smoke....
