What would win in a straight line, say 400m?
92 Vtec Manual Prelude 2.2L
Max.power (Net), kw(PS)/rpm 200 ps (147.10 kw) / 6800 rpm
Max.torque(Net), N*m(kg*m)/rpm 22.3 kg*m (218.69 N*m) / 5500 rpm
1240kg
98 VVL Neo Tiptronic Skyline 2.5L
Max.power (Net), kw(PS)/rpm 200 ps (147.10 kw) / 6000 rpm
Max.torque(Net), N*m(kg*m)/rpm 26.0 kg*m (254.97 N*m) / 4000 rpm
1400kg
Friend thinks his friends Prelude is faster..

Haha Ok. Umm I would say it would be quite close but the lude would win. Why? Because its manual and can launch better + vtec is xtreem and is a shit load lighter. Sorry.

Yep I would also say the Prelude, and easily too.
Why? Because your Skyline is 1. Auto and 2. 160kgs heavier

Those preludes haul, id pick that for the win.
To be honest i dont think theyd be far off a stock GT-T.. ive driven one, and with tiptronic, they really arent that quick

My mate has a prelude and that does go pretty damn well. But yea, Power to weight is the only killer for you. But then again, take it to the strip, you could be a better driver and still win.

The prelude has a Weight to power kw ratio of: 8.43kg/per kw and 5.6kg/per nm
while the skyline has: 9.5kg/per kw and 5.51kg/per nm
so it pretty obvious the prelude is the faster car plus its manual so more power is getting to the ground

Not even aw, The prelude is a Hondah, it could never win.

haha don't worry dude, I was just filling in for anyone who would have said that. I would say the prelude myself, they are pretty quick.
