4agze timing

Postby Caveman » Sat Jan 07, 2006 4:57 pm

Hey im having problems with timing my spark properly. I have te1 and e1 bridged and the timing is either way too high or too low, depending on weather a skip a tooth. 1 scenario its all the way at 30 degrees advance, minimum adjustment puts it at 12 degrees. Other scenireo it runs like crap and is retarded really far. I have done the initial stuff properly i.e. no1 tdc with the cam cavity showing through the oil cap. The car is an ae92 4agze map sensor. Im using a cam angle sensor from a ae92 4agze afm sensor.

try un hooking the battery then connecting it again then run the car for about 30 mins.resets all the timing on the ecu.or it could be a fault in your wiring.had same problem
